Job Description

Adjoy is looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join us on our mission to make advertising fun and valuable to consumers. The Social Media Intern will work closely with the marketing team to generate fun and creative content as well as grow our brand presence across our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Your contributions will assist in expanding the reach of the Adjoy brand message and driving traffic to Adjoy adoption from both consumers and businesses through organic efforts and paid campaigns.

We’re looking to hire talent first, and then provide the opportunity to experience all aspects of social media marketing in highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.


Position Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Marketing and team to monitor, engage and optimize the brand’s social media platforms

  • Plan and brainstorm content for our social media channels

  • Evaluate and report on analytics to determine success of Social Media activities

  • Maximize social network interaction daily to keep communities engaged — respond to user/client posts regularly while maintaining the voice of the brand

  • Conduct research on social trends, including new and emerging platforms, trending topics, identifying influencers, social holidays etc.

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of monthly content schedule across all social properties (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and website (blogs)

  • Assist with evaluating and developing social media policies and procedures


Position Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and consistently meet deadlines

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively on your own

  • Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, techniques, and technologies

  • A basic understanding of the social media channels/ landscape and their differences

  • Passion for social media, both personally and professionally

  • Previous experience managing mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Experience using Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc. a plus

  • Recently graduated or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Graphic Design

  • Active personal social media profiles

  • Energy, enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn!

This is a paid part-time position with full-time opportunity, starting at 10-20 hours/week.
